This is a very clear case of cause and effect.

I mean, that's exactly what you just said about Mediacom "Well they should have" just as you should have paid your bill. Good job on not missing a beat.I 100% agree. I understand it's really easy to break out the "well you should've just." statements when something didn't happen to you though. Especially because this is a no contract, month to month service! Has anybody experienced this? Is there anything that can be done? I know it's my fault for not paying my bill but it's absolutely crazy to have to pay so much just to get it reconnected and THEN have to go up on my bill every month after just one disconnect.

But I was told that I'd have to pay an extra $122 on top of what I paid for my past due because apparently when they disconnect a service you have to pay for the tech to come out (understandable) but then they also charge you for your first month of service for whatever package you have! And they said my bill is going to jump from the $55 I was paying to $80 plus 11.50 for the router because I lost promotional pricing for 6 months. Completely my fault and as soon as I found out I called to pay and get it reconnected.

I let my bill get past due and it was disconnected. Sometimes it stops and I have to reset the router and it works. Okay so first let me say that most of this is my own fault because I forgot to pay my bill but this was my first disconnect! I just have the 100 mbps internet from them and it's okay.
